Terrible service. Our house was flooded at 4am Monday morning, the 24 hour emergency help number belongs to a bloke that left HRD months ago. Called the Freshwater office when it opened at 8:30 am and asked for property management, couldn't put me through as their internal phone system wasn't working, left a message asking for property services. 2 hrs later nobody had rung me back, so I called the Newport branch and was put through to property management, gave a detailed explanation that (rain) flood water had filled the garden and entered the house. Got sent a team from a contractor to unblock our drains! Explained to them what had happened, and they said you don't need us, you need someone to pump out your underfloor cavities and an insurance assessor for the flood damage - which incidently is exactly what i'd asked HRD for. Here we are, 16 hours later, our possessions moved upstairs or pilled in the dry corner of the lounge, lounge and dining carpets ruined, kitchen floor vinyl tiles buckling and or lose, not able to use the kitchen and still no sign of an assessor. We can't even start cleaning up until they've been.
