Upon initially arriving for the viewing, the person showing us around was making remarks about the tenants before us. She was rude and judgemental and generally unpleasant- not the type of person to represent any company
Within the first week of tenancy, we received an email complaining that we didn’t pay our rent and they were “disappointed”, despite this being completely untrue, we had all paid fully and this was entirely a mistake on their end, they refused to apologise and stayed extremely hostile. They’re somewhat invasive and almost feels like they’re spying on us, which doesn’t create a comfortable living atmosphere- doesn’t feel like a home. We rented the same house for 2 years (very small house, poor condition and extremely high rent considering what was provided). There was a promise that the rent wouldn’t increase if we chose to stay on a second year but they lied and we never got this in writing.
Gave little notice for inspections and completely berated us for small issues and even things out of our control, when we didn’t have time to do any cleaning. There is zero leniency and they’re just a very uptight, money grabbing letting agency. STAY AWAY!

We rented from Rivendale as students some while ago. When we moved in, the flat was not clean, cobwebs, crumbs etc. We cleaned it from top to bottom.
Promises were made regarding fixing and in some cases replacing broken furniture. These were not kept.
