I have sold numerous houses over the years and dealt with many estate agents, and I would say understand the house selling / buying process well
Choosing the right agent is key to a successful outcome both in amount achieved and time to sell
I met with two local agents from Okehampton one long established and John Simmons from Miller Town & Country, the long established agent presumed he had my business to sell my five bedroom house with stables
Well I decided not to go with them after meeting John Simmons from Miller Town & Country, he wanted my business, he gave me the confidence and we were aligned on expectation on projected sale price
I signed with John and waited for him to put the detail's together and pictures for me to review, I visited his office once completed with additional input from myself and choosing the selection of pictures taken ,I thought would give maximum effect
It was a collaboration between the two of us, he then got his man with the drone to come to the property to take a video and more pictures when it was a clear blue sky, to showcase the house and land
Nothing was to much trouble John was involved in the whole process prior to even going to market
When we went to market one of his team came to the house so that I could show her round to get a feel for what the whole package was about ready for viewings
Well the drone video was great, the pictures re taken were great, the engagement from all of John's team was great
Also John organised a painter, plasterer and plumber for some minor jobs before we went to market at short notice, great support
We went to market the house sold with two couples wanting it within just ten days, we achieved in excess of asking price
The job wasn't finished though there were a couple of challenges with legal issues, John got involved and did everything he could to support getting the sale of the line
Which we did !!!!!!
He and his whole team did a great job from start to finish and after, they supported me in selling the property and executed in all areas
I chose well , Miller Town & Country in Okehampton did a first class job
I would recommend them to anybody, thanks John Simmons
