* the inspector came to my house on the 22nd July 2021 but I could not let him in as we had to be tested for covid. I spoke to the office that morning to let them know and they told me they cancelled the inspection. But no one told * In time. I couldn't answer the door but was about to speak to him through a window I decided not when * started shouting “I can't fucking believe this, I can't believe this”, again shouting “this is unreal…unreal”. My 3 year old son heard and so did my mum. I spoke to fife letting and told them never under any circumstances does * arrive at my home for an inspection again. They told me okay they will send ** instead. But 3 months later C* came to my door for the inspection, I didn't allow access so he stayed in my front garden walking up and down my path looking up at the house, it was awful! I was really upset so me and my mum decided to write a review online about what happened and to urge people to stay away from the company. *** from the office phoned me when she seen the review, she appeared great at first telling me she will* has came to my door, the last time before I got angry with the agency he was again pacing up and down my path looking up at the windows, standing outside my gate, facing my house while on a phone call. I let the letting service know how upset I was and the horrible thought that * still happily comes to my home even tho he's being investigated, very intimidating behaviour. This is when I realised there was no investigation and Helen told me what I wanted to hear to get my review taken down. The office replied my email telling me she had no knowledge of this issue I had with *, I got further upset and called *** a liar, *** no longer deals with my enquiries at the agencies. During the times * came to my home walking up and down the path I was obviously refusing entry so I was getting disciplined and warning from the agency for doing this, so unfair and not right.
I fell into rent arrears of 2 months after a distressing 6 months, financially and emotionally. I didn't disclose any personal details with them after how they treated me while handling * the inspectors harassment so a brief explanation of why i won't be able to pay. After them demanding the arrears be paid in full I told them if I can't get financial help I won't be paying in full but I can pay this much. ** then told me my landlord was happy with this arrangement. I was told by the office my landlord wasn't happy with me because I don't accept his calls anymore because my landlord would phone me at inappropriate times of the night and over and over again he would call. When he would ask me to call him back he want to know when I won't be a student as students are irresponsible and if he knew I was a student he might not have accepted my tenancy agreement in the first place, told me it's inconvenient for him as he needs to pay more on this home insurance as I'm a student, laughed at me down the phone saying he's never heard of a student for 4 years. I I told a**all the reasons why I don't accept his calls anymore and how it's actually becoming another issue, ** ignored my complaint of harassment towards my landlord and never did respond to my stressful experiences with my landlord.
11 October fife letting phoned my guarantor stating I haven't been keeping contact and reminding my guarantor they will be charged for my arrears. My guarantor was confused as she knows I made a payment plan with them and knew I made a payment only 3 weeks ago. I emailed ** and asked who stopped communicating with who? Because it was her when I was complaining about my landlord, I asked her what she wanted me to do I only get money once a month what did I need to speak to her about. Then ** told me I have never made a payment plan with her and I told her i don't know what she's talking about because I told her the payment plan 3 weeks ago. I then told her what I said I'd pay and when I'd pay it she then told me my landlord is happy with this payment plan, I said I know this already as you told me he was happy with this arrangement 3 weeks ago. Then I asked her if she was able to confirm she has understood THIS was my payment plan and no misunderstanding were going to happen again. She emailed me and called me curt, told me that was unnecessary and I told her it wasn't unnecessary I think I'm quite within my right to confirm due to the mess that was made of the last payment plan, a misunderstanding on the office part but I got disciplined for it. She then took the delight of telling me in actual fact my landlord isn't happy with this arrangement, he's not happy about how long it will take for the arrears to be paid off, when a day before she told me he was happy, she just took it upon herself to let me in on the bitching that was going on behind my back with herself and my landlord and the only way we can move forward is if they get access to my property, this isn't an issue as I have already confirmed with them Il be home on the 21/10/22 for an inspection. It's further intimidation tactics use by them as ** already told me my landlord approves of this agreement but made an unprofessional choice to make me feel bad about how unhappy my landlord is. She is a horrible women.
I'm on and off the phone with citizens advice about the interaction and issues I have with fife letting, they are appalled by the way they are behaving. They say it's no accident it's only “loan shark vibes” male that come to your home for an inspection and advised me this company are the worst to get into any type of arrears with as they are so aggressive and they have shown me exactly that.
Bottom line if you are someone who has trauma surrounding intimation or you've been victim of domestic violence like I have please please don't choose this company to go with as they are fear and intimidation tactic motivated. The office women will argue with you and completely make things up and ignore you. I am stuck in this situation due to rent arrears but if youse can help It don't be In this situation.
