They are the worst.
Very arrogant behaviour since we moved in, whenever we needed anything. If you want to complain about something, you can with the fact that the agency will turn your life to hell.
After we got to know what they were like, we tried to live in our rented room without conflicts, we tried to be almost inconspicuous, yet we did not avoid problems.
One example for everyone: Once we were asked to reduce the dishes in the shared kitchen. We agreed, but we were on holiday in Ireland at the time. We have written to the agency that we will clear everything when we return, which should be within two days.
We came back and the dishes had already been thrown away. When we confronted them with this, they pretended they didn't know where it could have gone.
Next - someone destroyed the shower door, the agency asked everyone to confess, but since no one came forward, the agency decided that we would all pay for the door, my friend informed them that he was out of the UK at the time and therefore it was difficult for him to destroy the door, yet when we moved out, they subtracted 70 ponds from our deposit.
I'm glad we moved out; it was our worst life experience. A warning to anyone who would like to have anything to do with the Arlen property.

Worst agency in the world.
As a student they put me on charge for all council tax in HMO property without sertificate for it. They did not ask for my permission using my name for it.Separately they collect money from one of my flatmates.

Mouldy flat, nothing done in the 1 year we were at the property. I imagine all of the properties they let have similar problems as they send out a mould advice document to everybody.. very strange.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
