We were advised by the landlord that for personal reasons he required possession of his property.
Janette my Office Manager personally contacted you by phone to advise you, you were going to be served with a section 21. Janette explained the process to you and she said you would have first refusal on any property that we had available or coming soon to the market that would be suitable for you.
We have not been in contact with the landlord since the property was returned to him. However, his personal circumstances have changed and he decided to put the property back on the market for re-let.
Please do not think for one moment this was a money grabbing exercise. We were as surprised as you were that the property was going back on the market for re-let. The current rental price reflects the market at this current time.
With regards to your deposit, I believe this went to arbitration with the DPS who decided on the deposit outcome.
It is a shame after seven years as a tenant with us, it has resulted in a negative review after so many positive experiences with the team.
