The agency was very rude and downright greedy. They wanted to charge us double admin fees (not referencing fee) for me and the missus.

Unfortunately, the missus had placed a holding deposit before understanding the terms completely. We spoke to Guv Kang to get the money back but he told us that we are trying to save money!

The agency did not even return our holding deposit (a week's rent) even when they realized that we were not completely happy with them.

AVOID THIS AGENT AT ALL COSTS
What agent could do to change your mind?
1. Once they understood that we had issues dealing with them, we should've been refunded. 2. Stop charging double admin charges and fleecing customers. There is only one contract per property so why should there be 2 admin charges.

Apologies if you feel you were not treated fairly. We always are very clear when take deposits. We only have one deposit charge£350+vat which is for two people and includes referencing, contracts, check in & check out charge. This is clearly stated on our website http://www.waterfronts.co.uk/Content/Terms-And-Conditions.html

The only reason we would not return a deposit is if an offer had been places, terms had been agreed with the landlord and then you wanted to change the terms. The deposit is them paid to the landlord as they have lost marketing time for their property.

I wouldn't say they are lowest in Docklands, but at the same time the are far lesser than Foxtons, Outlook, Alan Harvey, etc... Unlike other agents, their agent fees include check-in/check-out as well.
