WE WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BOULTONS TO ANYONE, VERY SUBSTANDARD SERVICE.
In the current climate where house sales are somewhat stunted we regretfully entrusted Boultons with our house sale.
We were constantly badgered to lower our price and found them somewhat dismissive when we refused.
We luckily did get a buyer and sale was agreed to a mutually acceptable price. To say that Boultons did not rise to the occasion to ensure the sale went through is an understatement, they did little if nothing to forward the sale and were not proactive in chasing the purchaser to ensure all was running smoothly.
After 60 days of agreement of sale they contacted us to advise us that the purchaser was unable to meet the sale price, some 30 days after we had purposely waited before making an offer on a house.
Cutting a long story short, the sale collapsed. Due to there incompetence, we requested the data regarding the sale in which notes were made only to find tersely comments like "bin them off" in the text notes. They cost us over £600 in un-necessary legal fees for the sale we subsequently had to pull out of as they hadn't ensured that ours was progressing without the basics of a mortgage being arranged!!!! Useless
