This was my first experience in the UK and unfortunately these guys gave me the worst ever experience. I selected a house from them and gave the offer. They replied to me saying my offer has been accepted. I was very happy as we really liked the house. They kept asking for numerous documents over many days. They got us sign the contract and even took the deposit. They told us if we do not pay quickly then the house will go to some one else. after almost 4-5 days of documentation, they came back to me saying the land lord got a better offer. The advertisement was for GBP 1850, but they rejected my offer of 1850 even after taking deposit and signing of all documents claiming that the land lord got a higher offer. This was really strange, unethical and extremely unprofessional. If the land lord was not convinced then it was really strange to ask me for numerous documents and sign the contract and even accept the payment forcing me to pay ASAP. I am in Dubai and i am still struggling for getting a house. Guys please be careful of these guys as they do not seem to be even ethical to me. I was dealing with a lady named Sarah for a property at the Haydon's Road. Really frustrating and complete unprofessional behavior from Winchester White. My strong advice to be careful while dealing with them. You are not secured even if you sign the contract and pay them.
