They rushed us into putting down a holding fee without signing anything and then did not give us any confirmation of the payment. They became very hard to reach as soon as they had our money. We had some questions that we wanted to ask about before we sign the Application to rent document and put down the initial payments so wanted to arrange an in-person meeting with the executive branch manager, but this proved impossible. Almost makes you seem like they don't even care about anything but your money. 14 days after the holding fee was put down they told us the property goes back on the market as we couldn't agree which is fair, what is not fair is that they did not even try to answer our questions. The ad for the property mentioned a move-in date of 6 April, but later we were told the landlord wants a March move-in. nonetheless when the property went back on the market they still advertised it with a move-in date of 6 April. It took 78 days to get the holding fee back, as they became absolutely impossible to reach once the property went back on the market. Had to get in contact with Countrywide, who owns Bridgfords, for them to investigate the issue about the holding fee, and only then were we given a refund. Absolutely disgraceful
