Not ideal for students who want to enjoy university life, although it is quite cheap definitely not worth the hassle. The house was infested with mice from moving in and this was not dealt with until 4 months later after it was reported to the council by the tenants but continued to be an ongoing issue until the end of the tenancy. There were maintenance issues every week meaning maintenance workmen were entering the house multiple times per week. Most issues should have been resolved before moving in e.g. broken oven, leaking shower, leaking roof to name a few. The shower had obviously been left to leak for years because eventually the bathroom floor and joists below were discovered to have rotted so the whole bathroom floor had to be replaced leaving us with one bathroom between 7 people for over 2 weeks. During this maintenance work, one of the workmen fell through the kitchen ceiling meaning that all had to be repaired too. During a storm, the already leaking roof began to pour water into my housemate's bedroom and Unity let's offered no alternative accommodation and suggested she sleep on the sofa (not ideal with a mouse infestation). With all these issues came endless emails and phone calls to get a solution and the only compensation was a £50 shopping voucher (no rent reduction). This only scratches the surface of issues we experienced with Unity lets but look at other people's reviews too and that pretty much sums it up.

This company is not registered at companies house they are in fact registered under Waterfield Homes Ltd and trading as Unity Let's. I can only say to you and others to report them to the council and trading standards. Luke warm *** in a champagne flute is the only way to describe them.. ...
