I am writing this REVIEW in order to SAVE YOU FROM GIVING YOUR MONEY TO AWAY for nothing. This company is taking your money for not doing anything. DO NOT BUY A house through the so called MODERN AUCTION, especially do not use IAM SOLD OR YOUR MOVE.
WE are first time buyers. It was difficult for us to find a house. So Your Move suggested that auction properties are the best option.
We thought that the money we give as deposit are going into the house....

But you pay £14000 for nothing. You pay also STAMP DUTY ON the £14000. (£672).

Worst experience ever.

All money that my husband put apart for our First home were given to IAM SOLD AND YOUR MOVE. They have done NOTHING.
I was crying so much. It was so stressful. We have two children daughter, age 5 and son, age 2. I can not work as I am looking after my youngest son. We are struggling because they knew we really needed a home and they took advantage of the situation.

Please do some research first!!!

Do not fall in this trap!

Price supposed to be 317 000 because we won the auction then they said they are not going to sell if we do not give to seller 320 000. Then £ 14 000 for nothing. We are really struggling. 😭

Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the service provided from IAM-Sold.

I would like to clear a few points if I may.

The fee that you paid is a non-refundable reservation fee that is paid in addition to the purchase price. The fee is charged at 4.2% of the final sold price and subject to £6,000 inclusive of VAT. The reservation fee is charged by all Auction Houses that offer the Modern Method and the fee is considered as part of the purchase price when stamp duty is calculated.

We are sorry to hear that you are struggling. We have no knowledge of customers financial situations when they come to us to bid at Auction and we would have been unaware if you were struggling.

As this is an Auction Property it has a start price and a reserve price. Although you have stated you bid £317,000 and thought you had won the Auction, if the bid do not match or exceed the sellers reserve price then the property does not sell and this is why our Auction Specialist will have advised that you would have to increase your bid to £320,000 in order for the property to sell.

You can put these therm on you website for your bidders so they have to agree before that. This is unlawful make this kind of list without this people knowing you have such a contract with vendors.
