We arranged through Richard and Gary to both purchase our new house and also sell our old house to ease communication lines in the sales process, so that the one estate agent would know exactly what was happening by being in overall communication control throughout the process. This was not an easy purchase for us as the vendor was difficult to access and there were issues to resolve with the property. Nevertheless, throughout both the purchase of our new home and the sale of our old home the team lead by Richard at Jordan Fishwick Didsbury were exemplary being professional, friendly, patient, attentive, courteous, reliable and fair. Suffice to say the purchasers of our own old property were sufficiently impressed to engage the Didsbury team and Richard to sell their own property. Richard's assessment of the market price to sell was fair despite market movements and although we settled for less than the asking price of our own property Richard negotiated a quid pro quo with the vendor to us to achieve a smooth transition of sale which was fair and reasonable. In summary I have no hesitation in recommending the team lead by Richard at Jordan Fishwick Didsbury despite the bumpy ride with our vendor. It has always been my intent to write an unsolicited testimonial of the excellent quality and high standard of their service and this is it. I have no negative comments at all, only positive ones for Richard and Gary. It is important to me that both the agent and the client develop a relationship that has a degree of mutuality and understanding to ensure a good working relationship. Certainly both Richard and Gary helped create that form of relationship that went a very long way to making both our purchase and sale happen as smoothly as possible.

The checkout report carried out had to take a certain amount of wear & tear into consideration. This is due to the tenant being in residence for 20 months and the property not being new when the tenant moved in. Items such as scratches on flooring, small marks on kitchen cupboards & marks on walls would all be unreasonable to charge from a tenants deposit.
