Disgusting experience as a prospective buyer. I had a offer on a house accepted over the asking price (even congratulated for it funnily enough). I also got sent a email with no information to state the above either.
As a result, I got a solicitor etc ready ASAP and was told there was a 'higher offer' less than 18 hours later. They then used their sales tactics to try and get me into a bidding war which would then artificially inflate the price and the egos of everyone involved, so I didn't out of principal. I am really unsure why they would accept a offer, get me to commit to a solicitor and then f**k me over like that?
Speaking to a friend who's also been looking to buy previously, this seems to be a common occurrence for Tiger Estates, as he had similar happen to him, but I didn't know of this beforehand, or would have treaded with caution or avoided completely.
I like to try businesses regardless of their bad reviews, but in this case I can see that the bad reviews clearly appear to be warranted.
I hope the estates agent are happy with their with their few extra quid and 2 of my days wasted.
Unfortunately given the monopolistic nature of some estate agents, fortunately much so less nowadays, our paths may begrudgingly have to cross again in future.

Feel pressurised by this estate agent, offer on a house was accepted only weeks ago and now I am bombarded with calls from Tiger estate agents, regarding the processes being already handled by my solicitors. Would never use this company again ! They accept your offer of 15 ka over the asking price sign up with solicitors and 4 weeks into the sale they inform you that there's been a higher offer . Disgusting. Ps the woman is so abrupt as well .

You claiming we didn't want viewings in January is when we gave our notice to yourselves. You claim an offer was made on our property when none was made at any point after Tiger took over from Leftmove.
Viewings were cancelled? Non existent as not once we're we informed viewings were cancelled and we lost count of non existent viewings. Such a shame Leftmove shut as they were brilliant with us. ...

What agent could do to change your mind?
When notifyed the sign was on the wrong building they should have removed with in 24hrs and made good any damage to the building or offered an appoligy and compensation for damage to building and our standing with in the community/ professional reputation. I can only apologise regarding the issue with the board being installed at the incorrect property. We have informed the contractor on numerous occasions and I have took a copy of the screen which shows we have responded proactively once we received notification that the board had been installed in the incorrect position.
