I had planned to leave the busy life in London and move out of London and since I have a number of friends in Preston, I settled for Preston.
It was challenging to find a place I could view when I visited Preston because the rental market and property market as a whole is very hot up there. I am sorry to say I contacted a number of agencies who abruptly told me the property is gone and that seemed the end of our conversation. I could not believe the fact that they made no attempt to find out from me, what I am looking for? What my budget is? What location am I looking for? etc etc. In other words, customer service was absolutely non existent. I was on the verge of giving up, until I made a call to Easthams & Co and spoke to Laura, I must say she was totally different. She asked me all the right questions and I felt that the good old fashioned customer service is still around. She was efficient, was interested in finding out about what I am looking for and within minutes sent me a number of options. I decided at once that I will not call any other agent in Preston. Mike her colleague showed me the property which I liked and I am now hoping to move to Preston very soon. Laura is certainly an asset for the business and I shall most certainly recommend Easthams & Co to anyone looking for a place in Preston and surrounding areas.
