We are renting since summer last year and until now we getting disappointed one after another from the very beginning. It feels like they do not want me to rent with them and make me regret every single day and made us feel they really want us to get out of this property. Even to get to view the property I had to agree to pay £500 in advance from £100 at the beginning and after viewing I had to pay the rest of the deposit straight away and we did it all.
Each problem we have I have to constantly asking with an update and even talk to the director and he explained how things get done with Martin & Co, still don't match with the time lining he explained.
From day one no one help us and explain how things work in the property, we had to come in to get the key and walked into property ourselves and found out some appliances didn't even cleaned and the grass at front yard and the back yards didn't get cut as promised until we called few times and finally got it cut weeks after we moved in. Each time I called they showed me how much they don't like to take my phone call, even the manager keep saying she never got my message to call me back.
Being a new resident in this city in the new country, trying to get settled with your children to get treatment like this is a nightmare.
We didn't have hot water and heater for weeks too and my husband had to explain to the director again to get help sooner while I had to get to other people house to have a showered or had to boil a water for each shower time for days.
We are still waiting for our kids windows to get fixed since we moved in months ago, was almost fallen into my daughters bed, and we had to keep asking for that. She couldn't open her windows during summer and during winter specially when there was a storm, I had to covered the side of the windows with towels and taped. Each time we kind of begging to get it done sooner but we had no luck.
With no update all the sudden the company who is supposed to fixed this windows came into my door this morning and gave us no choice of dates or days to get them come to change the windows, while we are actually have plans on that day, and had to canceled so our children finally will have safe windows after months living in the property we are renting.
This is the worse experience we ever dealing with for 20 years living all over different countries and continents.
