I’ve heard similar and can certainly concur on their condescending manner. There is an implicit attitude that a renter is somehow a lesser person than a landlord. They suffer from staff turnover so continuity is an issue. They moved their office out to Worthing, ironically because of the cost of renting an office in Brighton but also I suspect to reduce in person visits from the great unwashed. ...

Had a similar situation. Lived in a one bedroom flat in hove, had to wait over a month after tenancy end to see my deductions (not actually receive any money). Over £200 taken off deposit for cleaning alone. Took videos before i left - of course it wasn't in any state to need to spend that money on cleaning. They also are absolutely hopeless on email.
