Joke of a company. No one ever answers the phone. They avoid answering any of the issues you have over email and promise to get on top of it but do nothing until you email them again. Rinse and repeat. A number of serious problems have not been fixed in 6 months. Damp, broken fireplace panel, broken curtains. Took 3 months and over 60 emails for them to finally cave in and fix a few cracked tiles. Pathetic wastes of time. AVOID.

They are taking 10% and I am chasing them up and visiting my own property to review maintenance issues. I have been billed for maintenance that Ocean agree are the tenant´s costs but as Ocean get my rental before I do, they just pay their maintenance contractors with my money and never take tenant to task saying it will be sorted at end of contract via deposit.

Do not rent with Ocean. The amount of hoops you have to jump through just to rent a property with these guys isn’t worth the hassle. The agency fees are ridiculous and the insurance you have to take out to ‘’protect’’ your deposit is inappropriate. Outrageous I was charged 500 pounds in relisting fees as I had to leave contract early due aggressive and anti social neighbours who lived in he flat above. They refused to not charge me due to no fault of my own and then stated they had nothing to do with the issue and it was up to the landlord. They promote this property and is on their books!

What agent could do to change your mind?
- Greater clarity and communication regarding where the process was at. - More polite and less pedantic staff. - Greater clarity over exactly when the holding fee would be returned to us. - Fewer viewings for properties with some minimal feedback if rejected.

What agent could do to change your mind?
in accordance to the complaints below (as previously communicated to them) they could respond to them! They need to listen to customer feedback and act on it. I've seen no improvement from them whatsoever and absolutely no care or concern about doing so. Their attitude is shocking and needs to change. We have received a consistently poor service from Ocean despite numerous complaints. - The extortionate agency fee is a joke - Their ability to draw up contracts correctly is highly questionable and slow - Whenever I report a problem with the property they are slow to respond; have little to no enthusiasm or sympathy to get it fixed and on the last occasion I had to spell out what had to be done "try calling the landlord so you can get a faster response than email" - it's not rocket science! - We had a change of tenancy which threw them completely - surely it isn't uncommon for one person to move out of a property and for another to stay whn it's a rental property? - Correspondence is consistantly sent to the wrong address, wrong person or wrong email address. - They don't keep us updated with any ongoing jobs so we're forever chasing information.
