I recently left the property, in an immaculate condition, yet two weeks later Cityzen is yet to return my deposit or even issue a check out report.
The property manager, Jesse Zinga, has been absolutely useless. He is disorganised, lazy and dishonest. Last Wednesday he told me the deposit had been released with a 2-3 day lead time, I asked him to confirm it had been done on the Friday and he ignored me. Today I found out that he hasn't actually released any of it.
Jesse has been faffing with trying to find deductions, despite me showing him all accounts in credit. He didn't start to look at it until 8 days after the move-out when I asked for my deposit back.
Today he refused to take my calls until I said I wanted to complain, and still refuses to share a copy of the company complaints procedure.

Thanks Alex for your unkind words, perhaps a well constructed and worded email to myself may have been more appropriate and useful but you clearly wanted to have a rant.
Before going to the ombudsman you have to comply with the company complaints procedure which will involve you having to construct a sensible email without calling us "cretins" and "lazy"

Thanks for the review, here is a few points you conveniently left out of your review:
1. You failed to replace the mattress as agreed at the start of the tenancy and Jesse had to run around trying to help you out
2. All bills aren't paid, the communal heating and hot water bill is still outstanding (not your fault) but we have to hold funds back
3. You verbally abused Jesse on the phone today, we wont tolerate this threatening behaviour
