Thanks for taking the time to leave a review, across all of the review sites it seems, though your comments are really quite unfair and frankly untrue and we will be escalating this due to the defamatory comments.
When you vacated the property if was left in a state that needed further cleaning, which my colleague explained to you, providing a further copy of your original inventory and photos taken on checkout. In addition, a mattress was also left behind, which we had to organise removal for. You were provided with clear evidence and copies of the invoices issued by the contractors, yet continued to dispute the deductions and accused us of lying. To be clear, we haven't profited at all here and haven't invoiced for the additional time needed to deal with the issues after you left the property. The invoices also include the contractor contact information, you are more than welcome to speak to them to confirm that we receive nothing in return. Therefore, your claim of money being stolen is completely false and is damaging to us as a small business, so I ask that you consider removing this review.
The £140 cleaning cost is a fairly standard end of tenancy cleaning price, please do check this with cleaning companies in the area and you'll see that it's actually quite competitive.
Your review is solely based on your deposit deduction, you haven't mentioned our excellent service during your tenancy, which is also quite unfair.
To avoid deductions from your deposit in future please organise for your property to be cleaned and do not leave any furniture behind, as neither the agent or landlord are liable to pay for this. I would recommend asking any future agent for the contact information of a cleaner, which would ensure the property is cleaned to the standard required, also avoiding the need to leave negative reviews against other agents that will actually have been trying to help you.
