Disappointed in the entire process of letting with Leaders. *read the Trust Pilot reviews* not Goggle, cannot understand how there is a 4.3/5 rating here
Miss sold the No Deposit Option - I wanted to avoid it, but was told it was a request from the Landlady to pay for 3 months, then I could switch to the normal deposit for the remainder of the tenancy.
Switching to a deposit took over 2 months, which I was then charged for the NDO, which took a further 20 emails and 2 months to get refunded due to their mistake. After paying the deposit, it was then not registered with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme within the legal 30 days.
If possible avoid the NDO & read the small print. It doesn't cover any charges at the end of your tenancy when the tenancy ends and it is not refunded.
When my tenancy ended, It took over the 10 days to get the deposit back, even after it was confirmed there would be no charges. I still had to raise a dispute.
I had many issues with the property which were sorted promptly, I would give Leader a 4* for that. However, the standard of the property was much to be desired, single glazed windows full of condensation, wooden front door with a split down the front, the security was questionable.
Communication is rarely polite and friendly. Making a complaint is counter productive.
If you can avoid Leaders in the current housing crisis, I would highly recommend going elsewhere.

100% agree with your write up I have had a nightmare with them. And your are right about being passed around departments I now know the internal workkngs of leaders...
