Absolutely awful and disappointing experience with Pedder (Sydenham Office).

Whereby I was misinformed and misled by the condition of the flat I signed for what was on virtual which was far from reality.

Upon arrival to the flat on the 12th of October 2021 there was a list of issues that were not mentioned or confirmed prior to this date.

I immediately informed both that I / guarantor didn't want to continue with the tenancy agreement and requested an immediate release.

Prior to this on the 13th of October 2021 the Landlord agreed to me leaving the tenancy via phone and subsequently changed her mind the following day. I have been completely scammed as the flat is unsafe and not secure and uninhabitable.

I've paid a deposit of £1384.64 and the first months rent of £1000 and haven't even stayed at the property due to it being unsafe/unsecure.

now saying that I/guarantor are liable for the rent until they find another tenant which I totally didn't accept. As I have asked for myself and my guarantor an immediate release from the tenancy agreement.

I have attached footage of what I was shown to what was seen upon arrival. I would never advise using this agency as the experience is so devastating as I have incurred loss of earnings, further costing for moving and emotional stress.

This property SE26 6NR is NOT Suitable for neither I or my seven year old daughter to reside in.

Still in the process of finalising or else I/Guarantor will be going to court to settle.
