These are the worst agents I have dealt with. Firstly we viewed a property that the agent knew nothing about, all questions were given the lame excuse of I don't work from this office, but then he helpfully pointed out there were decent blackberries in the garden, err yes thats because the fence had broken down and feral land was forcing its way into the garden boundary. Is that really a selling point!
We then put an offer in for this property, to be told it had to be in writing and a form was sent. We filled this in and waited and waited and waited, eventually after 48 hours we decided to give them a ring, no one knew anything of the offer, so again we waited. Eventually we spoke to someone called Graham Richards. Now this property had recently been reduced by 20 thousand, making it somewhere we felt was worth looking at. We were told that our offer was not enough, so we rose it to the asking price and this was again refused telling us the vendor would only accept ten thousand over the asking price. Our question was why would you reduce it then? to which Graham felt it was his duty to argue that he knew the market better than us and it would sell, well if would sell so well at the original price why reduce?.....I am so pleased these did not sell our house, I mean if you get this lacklustre approach to buying imagine the mess they would make of the selling. However in refection the lady who answered the phone was always pleasant.
If you selling look no further than FBM, my those girls know their stuff, they keep you informed every step of the way, buying or selling ...now they are worth 5 stars.
