Appalling customer service from start to finish. Released the keys without taking a copy of my ID so had to drive back into Derby City Centre and pay another parking charge. Despite a joint tenancy only 1 key was provided. Multiple problems reported and ignored by Leaders, a total disregard and ignorance to their contracted timescales, notably having a faulty freezer for the whole tenancy leading to numerous food items going to waste. We chose the no deposit option meaning a larger monthly payment, you aren’t made aware that this will not go towards any charges at the end of your tenancy. Instead they will charge you for any fee they can and if you want to dispute it it’ll also cost you an extra £190. Upon questioning the charges, no understanding or empathy is shown from the Leaders team. Leaders are impossible to get in contact with until they want something from you, then it’s 3 phone calls, 4 texts and 5 emails a day. The landlord was lovely and sometimes we had to contact him direct as we found this a lot easier and more efficient. Having rented several houses over the years this is the worst experience I have had.
