I used Doorsteps to sell our rental property. I had some experience with another online agency but decided to give them a shot as they were the cheapest. I have 3 major issues with Doorsteps:
1. As they are an online agency, I expected their website to work well. It doesn't, it is a mess. The viewing management panel is not user friendly, it is difficult to use, chaotic. I was getting reminders to attend viewings which were cancelled via the website. Navigation links are broken and all over the place in mobile (which I had to use when I was out in the property conducting viewings). Their system sends out multiple emails (spam) offering their conveyancing service even after I already signed up for the service. Trying to sell something I already bought?
2. Their conveyancing service is provided by PCS Legal. That's a horrible company, difficult to work with as they ignore emails and have to be constantly chased and pushed to do their job. I'd give zero stars for Doorstep's conveyancing service alone.
3. They were slow to action sometimes. Not always, some responses were swift but for example I had to chase them to send the memorandum of sale to the solicitors.
Overall, I found dealing with Doorsteps quite frustrating. Fortunately we sold the house within days because of the market conditions and us not being greedy.
