International Landlords; Never Ever use Foxtons to Rent or Manage your Property!
Foxtons Chelsea totally mismanaged my property, they made unauthorized deductions every month, sent a different sum every month, (after collecting 100% of their fees up front), never on time, eventually failing to collect rent at all and then claiming that 'there was nothing they could do'. They refused to send any correspondance with the tenant and basically lost interest once the initial fees were paid. The most unprofessional service I have ever encountered in 37 years as a landlord.

Gather your deposit paperwork, and put a complaint in with the deposit scheme., that they use, they are not allowed to do this you are entitled to argue this matter. They need to provide proof and I bet they don't have it ...

I think most of the aspects are quite good. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed).
