I have recently completed on a house sale through Boardwalk. I previously had it on the market with a local agent in Fishponds, and in 3 months they only achieved 9 viewings and no offers, not even below asking price.
After reading about the different approach that Boardwalk take, I met with Nick and was very happy to proceed with them. They are nothing like my previous experiences of estate agents. No smarm or hassle, and they are genuinely interested in the qualities and details of a house and the lifestyle of their clients, and making the right matches between them.
The way they market the properties is also so unique. Their photographs are vibrant, funky and grammable! No skewed angles taken from the corner of the room, trying to make it look bigger than it really is.
The descriptions too, focus on the qualities of the house and neighbourhood, not just room dimensions (which you can find in the floor plan anyway) etc.
Before the advert even went live they had booked a number of people in from their waiting list. In a few days they had completely filled 2 days of back to back viewings, after which I immediately had 5 offers.
It’s worth mentioning that, on Boardwalk’s recommendation, I actually marketed the house at a slightly higher price than when I listed it previously. In the end, it went above asking price.
