We are surprised at your comments and the picture you have posted.
The previous tenants moved out on the 7th July and we received a complaint from you on the 12th July, the Property Manager visited that same day to check following your comments, please see below for your information.
81 Beche Rd has 3 bins, a green, blue and black. The properties green and black bins were to the front of the property, the blue to the rear. the Property Manager checked inside those to the front, the green bin was empty therefore they returned this to the back of the property, the black bin was full but not overflowing with lid closed, this was emptied on the 14th July and the Property Manager returned on the 15th July to put the bin in the back garden leaving all 3 bins at the rear of the property. The other bins in your picture presumably belong to your neighbours, we do not know why they are all left outside No 81. Of the 7 bins to the front, 2 belong to No 81.
The bin bags shown in your picture contained builders material and some food waste, we have not had any contractors carry out building works recently, the bags may be connected to the building work at the neighbouring property or may have been fly tipped. The Property Manager double bagged the two bin bags and moved them to the front garden of No.81 to help prevent them causing more mess in the street and has asked the cleaner we use to remove them when at the property this week.
The contractors we use do not dump rubbish outside properties, we have a good relationship with them and an agreement that any builders' waste is to be removed from site not left in bins. If you know this to be different and can provide details of the contractor we will be pleased to look into it.
We cannot comment on rubbish dumped in a footpath shared by other properties, unfortunately fly tipping in these common areas is all too prevalent in Cambridge. If it should happen again and you can prove it was tenants of No 81 we will be pleased to remind them of their responsibilities.
Please email me at [email protected] with details of dates and times you emailed us including the email address sent to and dated and times you phoned us to include the number you called from, I will then look into why you received no reply. I note that when you contacted us on the 12th, we visited on the same day.
If you need to contact the Property Manager in the future you may do so through our website where you can email us, phone us or leave a message.
Regards
