I had worked in Estate Agency for some years and was also married to an Estate Agent but I was very disappointed with the performance of the Estate Agents I initially signed up with. So I was delighted when Darren knocked on my door. I was very impressed with his 'no nonsense', pro-active, positive manner which made me feel more confident that the house would be sold - and it was within a week! Many Agents nowadays suggest elaborate and expensive 'extras' but if you want common sense (but up to date) Estate Agents without all the hype then I would strongly recommend Gascoigne Pees. Absolutely delighted with the performance of all staff at Petersfield office.

As a matter of course I am of the opinion that although the fee was agreed and was the most competitive of 3 generally agents fees are too high with vat added for house sale values

Thank you so much for your very kind review. It was certainly quite a protracted process. I must say that I completely agree with points you have raised which highlights what type of agent clients wish. I know how stressful moving is and agents should not just agree the sale and move on to the next but work with all parties throughout the process to exchange hopefully keeping stress levels to a minimum and within a reasonable time frame.
