When myself and my house-mate found Davies and Davies lettings, we were pleased to find a letting agent with such cheap properties for rent and no extortionate fees, however, the smile was soon wiped completely off our faces....By late October our landlord had decided to sell up and we had to move, fast, we found a lovely flat in the centre of Trowbridge with Davies and Davies lettings, after viewing a couple of their other properties, Kate showed us around and was very helpful with getting our application under way, by early December my half of the application had gone through and my friends in the process. We were soon handed over to Samantha Young, and our troubles began. We had explained our situation, we were both staying with friends/family until the end of January, when we were told we could move in. After a problem arose with our application we waited over three weeks for a decision from the landlord only to be later told that they'd known the answer all along and we were never informed, we were promised first refusal on a different property, only to be told two days later that it had been let. We have wasted over two months with these incompetent, unprofessional agents and come the end of this month will be homeless! Samantha Young is without a shadow of a doubt the most unprofessional individual I have ever come across, she promised us call backs that were never followed through with along with endless other promises she did not keep! DO NOT TRUST DAVIES AND DAVIES!!!!! THEY WILL KEEP YOU WAITING FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE AND DO NOTHING TO HELP WHEN THEY LET YOU DOWN!!!!!
