Shocking!! Please do not use. Missed out on my dream home because they didn't let the vendor know I wanted to put an offer in. when i asked why my request had been ignored, it was expressed it was because I had pulled out of an offer on property in the past,2 hours after I put an offer on because we realised it wasn't suitable for my disabled husband. So apparently my offer on this new property wasn't worth submitting!! when I complained to "manager " called me the liar! about this and appeared to hang up on me- though he denies this. I will be reporting this to the Ombudsman- totally unaccepted, I'm a buyer and I'm begging any sellers not use this agent- they feel they have the right to chose who can make offers not the vendor! we have missed out on a home we were willing to pay over the asking price for( I doubt the Vendor wasn't even given that info) because this estate agents seems to think they have the right to choose who they want to sell too!!

Hi Craig

Im afraid then your file notes are wrong then, as I was first to ask to make an offer on the property, but i was ignored!! as my comments say I told when i asked why my email asking to make an offer was not responded too, that i had previous of backing out after making an offer.. not sure what right any agent has to ingnore an offer?? thank you for letting me know I was the highest bidder, as I was told on the phone, i lost out because i wasnt the highest bidder and that it wasnt worth me putting in another bid as the vendor was happy that the other bidder has already instructed a conveyor - which is understandable from a vendor's viewpoint, If my offer had been taken seriously earlier, i would have also had chance to instruct a conveyor....... However regardless the outcome, Tigers still acted inappropriatley and with prejudice towards the fact i wanted to make an offer early doors. I do appreciate your comments that you will be happy to show any other properties, and due to the area we would like to move too, im sure our paths will cross eventually, but I will be very weary, as buying a home is stressful enough, without adding an agent you dont trust and have treated you like you dont matter.

but I would like to thank you for your time in response, that is appreciated.

regards
Leah

Hi Leah,

Thank you for taking the time to leave this disappointing review.

Regrettably, the contents of your review do differ from the file notes that we have in relation to the offers you made on the property on Hathaway.

The vendor was advised of your offer and indeed it was the highest bid. However, the vendor of the property decided to take a slightly lower offer on the basis that this was a cash offer with no need for a mortgage or survey.

I can understand your disappointment at missing out on a property but it is regrettable that you feel it necessary to question our professionalism and integrity when ultimately the vendor made the choice which offer to proceed with after both your offer and the accepted offer have both been presented to the vendor.

Of course we are more than happy to show you any other properties that you are interested in buying.

Kind Regards,

Craig Webster

Feel pressurised by this estate agent, offer on a house was accepted only weeks ago and now I am bombarded with calls from Tiger estate agents, regarding the processes being already handled by my solicitors. Why stressing the purchaser when you can easily contact the buyers lawyer. Feel the matter on hand is not being dealt with professionally. ...

Responding to your comment. You claiming we didn't want viewings in January is when we gave our notice to yourselves. You claim an offer was made on our property when none was made at any point after Tiger took over from Leftmove. Viewings were cancelled? Non existent as not once we're we informed viewings were cancelled and we lost count of non existent viewings. Such a shame Leftmove shut as they were brilliant with us. ...

Hi Liz, I can only apologise regarding the issue with the board being installed at the incorrect property. We have informed the contractor on numerous occasions and I have took a copy of the screen which shows we have responded proactively once we received notification that the board had been installed in the incorrect position. Unfortunately, we do use a board contractor and are not responsible for the positioning of the boards. However, I agree that the board contractor should have respo ...
