From my experience, RNL have not been liable enough for the desperate state of the flats and building. Only a handful of the electric storage heaters (which must be ancient as you have to take the electricity usb to the local shop to top it up) work in the flat - I communicated this to our landlord about making these work better and was not supported with this. The flat is that cold in winter that you can see your breath when just sitting in the living room! The windows also have no insulation and make loud wailing noises whilst also letting in so much draft. Multiple encounters with RNL are usually unsatisfactory as they appear to make excuses for everything that is wrong with the building and the behaviour of the landlord.
