Where to even start.
We placed our home on the market with WHB Norwich, we were happy to do viewings at any time, however our one stipulation was that the people who were viewing the house (1900's terrace with batroom off bedroom) were aware of the layout. Waste of breath!!!!! Every viewing was surprised there was an upstairs bathroom. People turned up to view the property when we had specifically said we were not free for viewings. Property was also advertised on righmove with wrong postcode!!
William h Brown also offered us a better deal if we used there Mortgage Advisor, so we went to the appointment only to be told the lady was not due in for an hour so had to wait, she then never called us back as promised with mortgage offers.
Finally we got an offer and in the 2 months that followed we recieved one phone call from William H Brown, asking us if we would consider renting the property out, then were surprised when we said the property had been sold - by them!!! The estate agents we bought off contacted us weekly with updates
When we finally came to exchange later than expected as they took 4 weeks to send the information to our solicitors and it was then wrong, William H Brown said they were not aware this was due to happen on the date requested. Apparently our solicitor had not been in contact, surprising as she had contacted everyone else involved with ease!! We were then informed that our buyers could not exchange as he was in hospital, then when he was out of hospital he kept dropping off the wrong information into the office as they were buying several peoperties to rent out. Once Exchanged the buyer came round to our property to measure up, we asked if he was ok after his operation and he hadn't been in hospital in 5 years!!!! They were also only buying this house not several!!!
I will give WHB some credit they were the first to call on completion day requesting keys (and there "well earnt" comission). No one clearly passed on the message that we had arranged a time to drop off the keys!!
Bunch of absolute time wasters, company should be shut down, feel like we have been ripped off from start to finish. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
