My husband and I previously used Regal estate agents for student lettings and also utilised the sales team on several occasions. Previously, we have found them to go above and beyond, be very professional, and supportive.
However, more recently our experience of Regal has been negative, due to an unprofessional member of staff. We met with a young girl called Rubie from the Regal team, from the beginning it has been a stressful and frustrating experience. Together, we felt that she did not appear to take our enquiries seriously, and for two people wanting to retire, it is serious for us! We both found ourselves becoming very frustrated and stressed, due to her lack of professionalism and decorum from this girl. Due to her immaturity and lack of respect, we made the assumption that she was either new or an apprentice. The level of customer service was shocking! Each time we have interacted she has had her phone glued to her hand (Kids now'days!!) and at one point we are sure we heard her arguing on the phone! She met us at a student property we have up for rent, we were planning to have some renovations due to previous students, she heavily criticised the 'state' of our house, saying 'you couldn't pay me to stay here like this' 'you should see my house' she laughed and joked claiming it was going to cost us a lot of money to renovate. I laughed this off, but this really upset me.
We are so disappointed because we have had such great experiences with Regal, for a long time! Unfortunately, this member of staff really lets the team down, I also have friends who have had similar experiences with her, one even told me she stood taking pictures of herself whilst people were viewing a property! All of which has been reported accordingly.
I write this review with a heavy heart, as the rest of the Regal team are absolutely fantastic and go above and beyond! We highly recommend Jill! Unfortunately, for the foreseeable, we will no longer be utilising services from Regal estate agents for the reasons above

Dear 'Regal' Estates,
Thank you for yet again presenting your unprofessionalism and incompetence when it comes to conducting business. Not only was I shouted at over the phone with incorrect information and emailed with condescending emails from your Estate Agents, you have yet again you can committed a confidentiality breach by sharing contractual data without the signing parties consent! Well done, I have added this response as well to the report to the property Ombudsman !

Estate agents are known to be thick, lazy and slow, but these estate agents are Olympically slow. Imagine sloths but less dilligent and less intelligent.
It takes days for them to reply, and none of them could even spell the word, 'initiative'.

I would not recommend this agent at all. They are greedy and have no concern at all for their tenants. They charge ridiculous prices for a simple letter and will take any opportunity to write them and then charge!! They have no duty of care ...

What agent could do to change your mind?
They could have arranged for an inventory for when the tenancy started, when asked for this they could not supply one which has now lead to a dispute for the deposit. They have not advised us correctly and took a very long time to respond to our requests for the check out report. This is my major concern apart from the fact their fees are extortionate and the property management side of things is non existent.Attached Filesnbsp;
