What a shambolic service.
Its a rare occasion if anyone ever answers the phone, when they do they never call you back.
We are trying to purchase a house throught this office and the absolute lack of focus on the upward chain is astonishing.
No information, no acknowledgment when things have gone wrong and a lackadaisical approach to customers. It's not unreasonable to ensure a sale is progressing unless its Winkworth where clearly taking on new properties take priority to seeing a sale through to the end
I have dealt with estate agents many times in my life and met the good (Frosts in Purley) the bad (Bairstow Eves in South Croydon) and finally the entirely inept Winkworth in Hove. Avoid if you have the choice.

Ensure you get email confirmation for viewings, and confirm ahead at least twice. Expensive transport organised, and called to confirm that 100% certain viewing will go ahead. Try to avoid Winkworth as much as you can actually. I am still renting one of their flats in Brighton and the service I have received so far has been awful. Terrible leakage on the bathroom ceiling from the above apartment but no one cared ...
