I think I would rather be homeless then rent from this company again. Please read below before renting!... Very easy to contact and take your money when moving into a property, trying to leave and get maintenance issues sorted is a complete different kettle of fish! Had mould in my property that was never sorted even having a newborn baby which led us not being able to use the second bedroom, had lots of other issues that took over 6 weeks to sort or never even got done by the time we left. We also had mice which someone was called the next day, they then never returned which led to them rotting under our kitchen units and bluebottles flying around the property, when contacting leaders we were told the company were not working on that day (Saturday) so we'd have to leave the windows open until Monday, which I add this was in December. This led to us having to get emergency pest control out of our own money. When giving our notice to leave the property at the end of the tenancy, we were issued with a notice of late rent which we had paid on the correct day of every month and even that month? When we left the property we paid £325 to have an end of tenancy clean which 'was not good enough' and had to call them back out in which they went back just to wipe a few skirting boards... on top of this we were also told we were to pay atleast £200 to have the flat repainted due to the property not being decorated in several years? (Taking in mind we had only been in there 1 year!) Even though the flat was already advertised on the internet and a let had been agreed. At this point is had came clear they weren't just holding my money but they also had another deposit down the same property which I did not think was even legal? Never the less, 6-7 phone calls later and 16 working days of still not having my deposit, I got it back. Luckily I had parents to front the money for me so I could move otherwise I would have lost my new home. Absolutely disgusting excuse of a company and not professional at all! And of course all the excuses were down to 'Covid' which I understand due to being a health worker, however there were always people to answer my calls, but couldn't answer my questions which I find very strange? Please search wide and far before having to settle with a property being let by this agent, as it was probably the worst decision I made. I could write and write about the problems I have had while dealing with this company, but I'm glad to see the back of them and will leave it as that.
