* misled me by inaccurately describing a Colchester property I bought through Michaels Property Consultants.
Their Rightmove listing and property brochure claimed an integrated kitchen appliance was included in the sale and he repeated the claim in my viewing. I based my offer on that information. Unfortunately for me that information turned out to be inaccurate and misleading. The day I moved in, I was shocked to discover that the integrated appliance had been removed, leaving a large gap between kitchen units and damage to the neighbouring kitchen unit. I would not have bought a property with an unfinished kitchen.
When I raised the issue, * told me that their property listings don’t form part of the contract and that the matter was not under his control.
As a result, I have been forced to raise a formal complaint involving the Property Ombudsman and to initiate legal action to try to resolve the matter.
The Michaels Property website says they “strive to provide people with a customer service well beyond their expectations” but I feel badly let down.
Given the very poor experience I’ve had with Michaels Property Consultants, I wouldn’t believe anything they say again and would urge potential sellers, buyers, landlords and tenants to steer well clear of Michaels Property Consultants.

To conclude, I am sorry you felt like you were mislead in your purchase Paul, however it is clear that my team played absolutely no part in this and I am struggling to see how you could possibly hold them responsible in these circumstances.
If you feel it necessary to take this further then please by all means contact the TPO and they will handle the matter accordingly, but please do not leave unnecessary reviews on public sites before these matters have actually been determined - it is ridiculously unfair and I am sure that you would not appreciate it in whatever line of work you are in.
