Initially, Hannells were very good and we had quite a few viewers - mostly investors and we did get what we considered a good offer from an investor for the house and they priced the house realistically - which I think is a good thing from an agent and the marketing and communications were good and I was happy with their prices.
Unfortunately, and I do appreciate things were more difficult with Covid rules - the sale took a long time to go through (approx six months) and I thought the post-sales communications could have been handled better and we could have had more frequent communication between me, the buyer and the solicitors co-ordinated by the agents and I felt I had to do a lot of communication myself. Towards the end things got rushed - to be fair this wasn't all Hannels fault as my buyer changed his method of purchase and they did come good in the end and helped us get over the line - but I thought post-sales communications could have been better after the sale was agreed.
