I have had a disappointing and frustrating experience with the Fenix properties to that level that I would have given a -1 if that was possible. I contacted them to check for a furnished apartment advertised and booked an online viewing. Until they got my initial deposit of £100+, they were saying yes to whatever I asked making me believe that they understand my needs and would support me throughout. However, as and when I signed the pre agreement mentioning that I would be providing the documents, they were more keen to make me withdraw from the agreement which would benefit them by allowing them to keep the advance payment. It was a constant harassment for a period of 1 month where they would call me even though I requested to contact by email. After a tedious and frustrating process of documents checks, multiple references and numerous calls, when I met the landlord to get the keys after transferring the full amount, was when I got to know that the property that they had shown and misguided me as a furnished apartment was actually an unfurnished apartment. When I tried to contact them after that, nobody would answer my call nor were they ready to ring me back or apologize. After losing my one day on work and expenses on public transportation, they have neither called me nor have they agreed that it was a simple mistake from their end, but rather has been constantly blaming me for the misguidance that they have committed. It was a terrible experience and would never recommend anyone to take up a tenancy service through this agent at all.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I would be most grateful if you could call our office to discuss which property you are referring to, we have signed contracts and emails from all our Landlords authorising the marketing of their properties, therefore I am assuming you are mistaking the property for a different one especially as we are advertising it as a property of different size.
May I ask why you have not contacted us at all about this?

What agent could do to change your mind?
Fenix property did not respond to most of our emails asking for our money back. Correspondence was slow, and bizarly letters were signed "Your's sincerely Fenix Property". This suggested a very unprofessional approach. I have used several Newcastle and Teesside based estate agents and they have always been professional in dealing with any concerns. However, this company is NOT professional in their dealings and did not apologise or acknowledge the trouble they had caused.Attached Filesnbsp;
