I have investigated your claims and the tenancy which this is in relation to. As a guarantor of a tenant (your daughter); it seems that you are venting your frustrations due to the large sum of arrears which the tenant left for you to pay. I can see that this review was written shortly after you paid off 3 months of arrears (yesterday) from a tenancy that ended in June. We have helped you set up a payment plan and you have only been contacted when you have not paid on agreed dates. These arrears have been paid off 9 months after the tenancy ended, the Landlord accommodated this situation even though this has led to he, himself struggling pay his own mortgage.
As you were a guarantor, and not a tenant, you may not know of all the difficulties that were incurred during this tenancy by the tenant. We believe the claims you are making are slanderous and defamation. Please see below reasoning to show how the tenant was accommodated above and beyond:
- As an agency we let tenants sign to this 3 bed property as a two at a reduced rent and said they could find a third tenant – tenants did not pay for the spare room.
- We let tenants move in a day prior to their start date at their request to help them out (30th June)
- Cleaners were sent on the day they moved in
- We put in brand new carpets which were damaged by these tenants.
- The tenants left the property with food and rubbish lying around everywhere,
- When repairs were reported; they were mostly fixed within 24hours
- The tenant in question did not pay her rent on time throughout the tenancy, no late payment charges incurred
- The tenant left the property in substantial arrears, the landlord did not take this further to a debt collection agency or court; he accommodated her with a payment plan
- Property was left filthy & left damaged (furniture damaged, carpets stained and burnt, blinds + curtain rails broken, the list goes on).
- The tenants fly tipped all belongings outside the property on 30.06.2020.
- The tenants moved out late which they were not charged for
