Having bought and sold property before, I was initially looking forward to working with an estate agent about as much as I'd look forward to the attentions of a blind proctologist with chronic delirium tremens and steel hooks where his hands should be. In the event, I have nothing but praise for Romans.

Jonathon and his team were fantastic. They were friendly, efficient and professional at all times. We had over a dozen viewings and agreed an offer within 4 days of the property going on the market.

Getting the offer in is only part of the story though. Our chain nearly collapsed because of the actions of another agent. I wont mention them directly, but if you're a "PROSPECTive" customer of this other local agent, I'd think again, if I were you; rude, deceitful, incompetent, lazy, stupid, cheap, unhelpful and short are only some of the words I could throw at them. BUT - dealing with these other agents is where Romans absolutely shone.

Lisa Roe, in particular, understood what our move means to us and went absolutely above and beyond the call of duty to make certain it happened. Without her coordination and incredibly hard work, this sale would simply have collapsed after several weeks and many thousands of pounds in survey fees etc had already been paid. Without her cheerful encouragement I'd have been more of a gibbering mess than I already am.

Jonathon, Lisa and the team are on your side, then you are on a winner. Surrounded by cardboard boxes and furniture that doesn't fit, I have vowed NEVER to move again (just like I did last time). But f I did, there's no way I'd work with any agent but these guys.
