Dear Tenant,

We are sorry you feel your experience with us has not been a good one. Unfortunately, as you haven’t given us any details we are unable to provide a response in respect to your specific concerns. The postcode given leads us to two possible issues at this block recently. As such we have addressed each in turn, below:
• Fire Alarm: If a resident sets the fire alarm off, the water diverts to the fire hoses automatically and cuts it to flats. Block managers Zip Management are the only representatives with access to reset this. We are aware that this weekend, it took over 24 hrs to reset and understandably this caused frustration and inconvenience. Unfortunately this is something that Lamont, as a Lettings Manager has no control over. We did however, across a high call volume, endeavour to allay any concerns whilst maintaining contact with Zip Management.
• Mess in lifts and communal arears: Whilst again, this is not something Lamont has any control over we have made every attempt to support our tenants by sending a number of anti-social behaviour notices, along with highlighting the issue across communal notice boards around the building.

We feel it important to clarify that within our contract, it clearly states which matters fall under our remit, and which under the block managers. Our experienced team take every call with a view to help find a solution however they will not tolerate verbal abuse and will end the call when necessary.
