Viewed a rental property at Harleston which is on for £2,000 pm and if I was the landlord I wouldn’t be particularly happy with the viewings being undertaken. My daughter rang for a viewing and got told they are only doing viewings over 2 days and if they had a cancellation someone would be in contact with her. I rang and got an appointment. Surely appointments are done until a tenant is found? A reputable company like Fine and Country I would certainly expect the member of staff to be a bit more enthusiastic about promoting the property and certainly a bit more clued up on it bearing in mind it had been up for rent since the beginning of February. I appreciate it is COVID times but being told to show yourself around and the few questions like is that a log burner ....yeah I think so! How much land is included.....I don’t know I am waiting for that groundsman to confirm and what outbuildings are there that we can use which were all in the same areas....:oh you can’t use one because they are storing their stuff in it! Which one.......the larger one! How many stables are there? 3 I think, but you can walk yourself down there afterward! She obviously didn’t want to go out in the cold! I felt she was totally disinterested. I really couldn’t be bothered to ask any more questions and totally put me off the property. If this is the customer service a tenant receives trying to promote the property I shudder to think the service if anything goes wrong. I would love to know what the poor landlord is paying for this shambolic service
