Our experience with Lovett & co has been nothing but exceptional from start to finish.
We had our house valued in July last year. Obviously it was during Covid times so when the valuer came, he was very professional. He wore a mask, used hand gel an kept a safe distance. He told us there and then what we’d be looking to sell at if we put it on the market. We had also asked about renting our property and he was very helpful with information on this also.
We decided to that selling was the best option for us at this time so it was then arranged for photos to be taken. Again the photographer was very professional and had photos uploaded the next day for buyers to see.
Lovett & Co explained to us that they had a database of buyers looking for houses like ours in our area. These buyers would be contacted and made aware that a house was going on the market. Within 24 hours we had had 5 viewings and 4 offers on our home. Claire was amazing in this process and we can’t thank her enough. We honestly couldn’t believe it, it was all so quick. We accepted an offer and now it was time for us to look for somewhere new.
The girls in the sales department were more than helpful. We gave them an idea of what we’d like in a new home and they sent us houses over to look at. We told them we wanted to stay in the area so they looked at what was already on the market and also houses that were due to come on within the week.
We picked a few houses and went to view them. Again everything was very professional, we were contacted the day before to ask if we had any symptoms of covid it had been in contact with anyone who had symptoms, we were asked to wear masks and use hand gel if provided by the vendors.
We decided on the house we wanted, we put in an offer and our offer was accepted.
Throughout our selling and buying, the office staff at Lovett & Co have been more than helpful. We have had telephone conversations and emails and although everyone is working from home, everything needed to be done was completed on time without excuses. There was also a good relationship with Lovett & Co and our solicitor so the staff would be in contact with our solicitors as well as with us and also with our buyers solicitors.
Again due to Covid, on the day of moving we were asked to exchange keys ourselves as offices were closed. Again this was very easy to do.
We would definitely use Lovett & Co again if we ever decide to move and I will recommend to anyone looking to sell or buy.
