Literally the most disorganised and unprofessional company to deal with. Total dis-connectivity to their partner OpticRealm who build and manage it. They turn out to be more of a nightmare once you become their tenant!
I’ve never moved out of a property so fast, after 6 months of issues with OpticRealm ( most still unresolved I had had enough). So have other tenants on Layla Court, 640 Holloway Road. As far as I know they are all planning to leave as soon as they can.
Do not work with living space housing if you don’t want the most stressful on-boarding experience in finding a home. The team seem to have clue no properties being showed, all they do is open the door, you figure out the rest. Because you will find what they told you is not correct! Just yesterday their Agent Shannon was telling the viewers the over is also a microwave!!!( it’s not)
Living Space simply show the property but you contract with OpticRealm. Olivia Popescu who onboards you at OpticRealm is a nightmare. Absolutely inflexible, unwilling to assist with any problems because it would mean accountability. No apologies when things go wrong. They’ll just tell you to log it on some app which they never told you about in the first place.
As a tenant you will be living with a raft of issues you have to resolve and painstakingly take time out for. It ended up connecting all of us who live here to help each other out with issues since one by one we all the same problems. No hot water, toilets blocking every few weeks, ceiling peeling off bare in mind it just got built. Installations of white ware were all incorrect or unfinished. I’m bot talking one flat ....I talking 4-5 or five of us going through the same dramas. Olivier telling me not to talk to others about problems. We are friends and in the building because we end up resolving or trying to help each other out. It takes 2-4 days for Olivia to answer you. That’s a long time to be without hot water. My neighbour let me use his on moving weekend. This is how crap these properties are and there is zero customer care from Olivier at OpticRealm.
Most of these are - blocked toilets, cracked ceilings, hot water issues, billing issues for energy because their partners have installed meters incorrectly. The sound proofing is terrible. You’ll never get any sleep from the thumping from the flat above. Or dogs barking from other apartments.
