DO NOT RENT WITH LIGHTHOUSE. Rented with them in second year and they were absolutely appalling. Issues are never resolved in under a week. The fire alarm at the top of the stairs needed its batteries changing and was beeping constantly. Unfortunately it was out of reach for us so we called lighthouse who said they’d get someone to come look at it. Someone eventually came to fix it 2 weeks later. This was during EXAM SEASON and all of us struggled to sleep with a high pitched beeping every 5 minutes for 2 weeks.
Shortly after, the bathroom tap has started leaking and flooding the bathroom so I emailed lighthouse who again said they’d send someone round quickly as flooding is an emergency. 2 DAYS LATER a very rude and condescending plumber came and told us this was not an emergency and that we were lucky we wouldn’t be billed for the ‘emergency’ call out. Considering it took him 2 days to come look at it I hardly think that can be classed as an emergency call out.
After we finally left the house we expected our deposits back as the house was left in perfect condition. However me and 2 of my housemates received letters to say we would not receive our deposits as they were being held due to one tenant not paying rent for the past 3 months. We rang lighthouse who said they had contacted the tenant and her guarantor to ask for the money. 2 months later, nothing. So we rang for an update and a 6 month payment plan had been set up. 6 months later, still nothing. Lighthouse still haven’t got the tenant to pay them back and we still haven’t got our £200 each back.
Absolutely appalling customer service, condescending staff who have no intention of treating their tenants decently. Disgusting.

Hi, We haven't carried out any checkouts in Brayford Court yet as no one is due to move out therefore no deposits will have been returned. Please call the office if there you feel there is a confusion. The engineers have attended to the lift and have not found a fault. ...

Hi, it is disappointing to read your comments and we are sorry you feel you haven't had the best experience within Brayford Court.
A couple of points which I don't feel are fair - Lincoln City Council empty the large bins every Friday. In our experience there are a number of bins which are always empty but people choose not to use them.
Fire alarms are only set off when they sense smoke. This can be annoying when sharing with others however people do need to be mindful when they cook.

What agent could do to change your mind?
