Worst lettings agent I've used in Milton Keynes. I used their full management service to let my property, for almost 4 years. While the relationship and service was good to begin with, this past 2 years has been awful. To list a few of the issues;
· They're incompetent at finding suitable tenants and running the necessary searches - my 3 bedroom property was sublet to over 10 people
· They don't carry out the regular checks, contrary to the management agreement - tenants had put holes in the walls, broken toilet fittings, doors and windows
· Their inventory checklist counts for nothing - 6 pieces of furniture went missing including 2 double beds
· Lack of due diligence on issues arising with in the property - do not follow up with tenants after they break appliances, no investigation as to the cause, any repairs will be made without landlords consent
· Always difficult to get a hold of anyone with any `knowledge` of your property to talk to - I had to drive 150 miles round trip 6 times in the past year in order to talk to them because they ignore my emails and do not take my calls
· Dishonest and unreliable - After my sublette property was vacated 1 month early, Alan Francis agreed to repair the damages before completing the handover, to compensate the deposit was to be used as the final months rent due. They did not carry out the repairs, they did not pay the final months rent out of the deposit, they did not complete the handover, they did not return my house keys!
After not hearing back from Alan Francis and having wasted 6 months of my time with an empty property that was in need of repairs as well as unpaid amounts for 9 months of council tax payments, 6 months of utilities bill payments. I went to collect the key, which was handed to me outside the office without even an apology or explanation.
Truly this is the worst lettings agency in Milton Keynes, please be aware and avoid them at all costs! It's a travesty that i am unable to give them the 0 star rating they deserve!
