We chose John Hoole for several reasons:
1. Right from the start I got through to them easily and arranged initial introduction and valuation straight away, another agent I tried took days and several calls to even arrange a valuation, then turned up late.
2. I liked that they were small (just John and Zoe) and thought I would therefore be able to always talk to someone who knew my situation in detail.
3. Gave some honest advice about removing clutter and how best to present our house.
4. They gave some assurances that they would be on the ball with the detail of any chain I might get into, and because I was separating from partner and therefore we were trying to buy 2 places, this was an important plus point for us.
All the above proved to be true, and when I look back this was a decision I felt we got totally right,
We went under offer at the end of the first week on the market, not quite at asking price but pretty close to it, and although there were a few tense moments with the buyer wanting to proceed quickly and us not being ready we eventually completed 4 months after accepting the offer.
We mostly spoke to Zoe and she was very aware of our situation and knew the entire chain from top to bottom, she mailed all the other agents involved so everyone was aware and updated it as we went along.
All in all I can completely recommend John Hoole and I would use them again.
