I have never been so disgusted by a company. Mould in the bedroom reported 4 times and not once did anyone come out to look at it, yet I was expected to clean it only for it to keep coming back. There was also a leak in the sink in the kitchen that they never sent anyone out to fix.
Now that I've left they want to take money from the despit to hire cleaners as there are crumbs in one of the kitchen cupboards. I would advise anybody to avoid them like the plague unless you want to spend 2 whole days cleaning when you leave just so they can attempy to take 80% of your deposit!

I am a landlord and completely impartial as we have never used Belvoir before. From the discussion above, I am inclined to side with them on this. I have had personally had several tenants who have left our house in a disgraceful state when they have left. No thanks to Relocate Central, Falkirk, we are left without a leg to stand on. We are now with another company who we hope can be fair to both sides..... or at least on the side of the Landlord. May 06, 2010

The comment made by Belvoir above only serves to show how unproffesional they are. However, putting personal and embarrasing remarks onto a website about a tenant is only to be expected from a company with standards already so low. You are a joke of a company Belvoir, shame on you. Mar 23, 2010
Everyone knows there are two sides to a story. The "mould" in the bedroom was indeed reported and the tenant was visited. She was told that it was caused by condensation, she should move her bed slightly away from the wall, open the curtains/windows and close the en-suite door when showering. Obviously this was never done. The tenant had two routine visits from 2 different inspectors both reports came back that the property was a very dirty, the tenant denied this and we also got a letter from Mum saying her child was clean and how very dare we!On the final inspection the tenants had gone around the whole property with mis matching paint over their numerous dirty marks. It honestly looked like someone had tested for a new colour scheme every few yards. The oven and kitchen cupboards were not cleaned and the toilet seats were so stained that they needed replacing (I am surprised the seats had not melted through with the amount of lady wee that must have built up).
They were charged for repainting the property after their attempt of cover up, cleaning including the kitchen area and replacing the toliet seats.
We would never rent to this person again and wish her new landlord all the best.
P.S The leaks been fixed now.

Well I am a tradesman and know what Belvoir are saying about the condensation is utter tripe.
They are speaking out of the rear passage.
As for bringing personal snipes onto a public forum, that in itself is utterly unprofessional and to back that shows that you are either an employee or friends with the belvoir poster.
How very unprofessional.
Dampness is a result of a lack of ventilation and possibly drainage. A problem created by poor building in the first case, or a change of use for a room and not done correctly or just poor maintenance. Most of these problems are not caused by those living their but are a result of them living there due to the poor installation.
People should not need to open doors and windows if the installation has been done correctly. 99% of homes do not have this problem!
