As first time buyers myself and my partner were very low in confidence after being let down by our previous advisor who did not put us at ease when applying for a mortgage.
After being put in touch with Emma through our estate agent who we were buying a house from, we were much more comfortable and clued up on the process that was involved when applying for a mortgage. Emma put our minds at ease and was always more that happy to answer any questions we had no matter how small they were.
We fully appreciate that Covid has had a massive impact on the market and this has delayed lots of applications and taken them much longer to be processed. Despite taking approx 5/6 weeks before our survey had been completed, we always felt at ease knowing both Emma and Harriet were doing their best to try speed the process up and push for the application to be accepted.
Myself and my partner massively appreciated how responsive Emma and Harriet were to our queries. We had lots of difficulty trying to get in touch with our previous mortgage advisor and never knew when we would hear back from him. Since we were first put in touch with Emma we knew if we didn’t hear back from her straight away, when we could expect a response. We were also able to get in touch with Harriet without any difficulty, and if she was not available, another member of staff would pass our message on to her.
Massive thanks to both Emma and Harriet for all their help and making us feel much more comfortable when applying for our first mortgage!!
